Catch-MR (Cooperative approaches to transport challenges in Metropolitan Regions) was a project within the INTERREG IVC programme. The aim of the project was to explore and adapt sustainable transport solutions for metropolises and their surrounding regions. 12 partners took part in the project, representing 7 Metropolitan Regions, one of these was also Ljubljana Urban Region. The project followed an integrated approach encompassing three themes: reducing the need to travel within the regions through coordinating transport and land use, increasing the share of public transport and increasing the use of renewable energy in transport. The partners pursued these objectives by identifying and promoting good practice.
